  SPRING TRIAL HIGHLIGHTS 2008

Comfort with Color
A seating area surrounded with colorful containers and flooring created a comfortable atmosphere where customers relaxed! This look was created by using furniture by Braun Horticulture and beautiful new varieties.

Mixed Containers
Using simple pots and planting them with a colorful variety mixed with grasses created a dramatic display. This simple, yet creative way of showing off your products can create more sales and inspire consumers.

Versatile Variety!
Cyclamen can be used for multiple holidays. Dress up your plant for Valentine’s Day with a purse provided by John Henry, or place it in a container with Christmas decorations and Poinsettias. There are ten series available in three different sizes. Discover which one is right for you!

There's no gamblin' with Ramblin'
Displaying your varieties to focus on their many uses can stimulate sales. Whether in a container, hanging basket or in the landscape, you can’t go wrong with Ramblin’ Trailing Petunia. And with thirteen colors and five mixtures, you’re bound to find the right color for you!

Cross-sell your Merchandise
A quick and easy way to cross-sell a product would be to create a display incorporating merchandise that a consumer would pick up when making a purchase. This look was created with Maverick™ Geranium and watering accessories provided by Dramm.

Grab and Go
These 3-in-1’s by John Henry are a simple way of dressing up a plant while boosting your sales! KarmaTM Lavender Shades matched perfectly with this 3-in-1 adding a trendy look that retailers want.

New introduction...
This landscape presentation which introduced new Winter Ice™ White Cyclamen surely caught the attention of spectators passing by. Use this display for inspiration for your own garden using bright colors.

Tropical Garden
The cabana was a big hit, located near the center of the greenhouse. Surrounding the main feature with a bed of colorful popular varieties and grasses, with a pathway that lead up to the cabana created a garden oasis. This outdoor look can be achieved by using any of your favorite varieties.

Pinwheel of Color
Syngenta Flowers welcomed guests with a “pinwheel” of color at the 2008 Spring Trials. By featuring some of our most striking varieties in thick blocks of color we were able to focus our visitor’s attention on the importance of color in their retail and garden displays. We look forward to sharing other exciting marketing ideas at the 2009 Spring Trials.

Endless color on the bench!
Syngenta Flowers was proud to share our entire vegetative assortment in traditional bench trials. Visitors were able to peruse every color of all of our exciting series.

So much to see...
Syngenta Flowers was pleased to show their entire assortment of vegetative annuals, seed annuals, and perennials under one roof at the Goldsmith Seeds Headquarters.

Way to go breeders!
Breeders at Syngenta Flowers focus much of their time making sure new introductions are landscape ready. At Spring Trials, we are always pleased to show off their hard work by showing how easily our varieties fill landscape beds. The Plush™ Petunia bed in this photo is just one example of the many great varieties we have to offer for home gardeners and commercial landscapers.
